So… Is Milling Your Own Flour Actually Worth It?

I’ve put all the stuff I wanted to know before I bought my mill in one place — what it costs, what you actually need, what you don’t, and what you’re really getting yourself into. But that’s really all the farther I can take you.

There is a lot of information out there, the issue is figuring out what’s facts, and what’s opinions. What’s real and what’s made up by someone looking for likes. So here’s where I’m going to leave you.

Is milling your own flour actually worth it?

The answer for me was a very slow, and I mean I’m the hare in the Tortoise and the Hare slow… yes. But I can’t answer for you. Truth be told NO ONE SHOULD. You’re going to hear A LOT of “mill your own flour! It’s the only way to know what you’re getting”. You’re also going to hear a lot of “You need to get back to grain the way God intended it”

Now let me put the brakes on that thought for a second. I am ABSOLUTELY a faithful servant of our Our Beautiful, Amazing, Gracious, Merciful, Loving Creator. However, I am COMPLETELY AGAINST people using Him to push their worldly agendas. Getting back to the ways of YHVH (God) should be about a full life commitment to Him. Learning and loving Him for who He is, it should NEVER be a slogan for bread.

Now, back to the question at hand. Take all I have given you. I’ve done my very best to insure its accurate, honest information. Think about what your own goal for YOUR family is. And then do a little more research if there are things I didn’t quite answer.

When you’ve done that… and you’ve decided to join us… take the leap. I’ll still be right here walking beside you.
